The Brand Barrier: I’ve been reading a lot of Mobile Legends articles and reading the comments in ML-related videos in YouTube regarding the issue if they can switch their accounts from iOS to Android. Today, we will answer that case and explain it also.

Basically, the answer to that question is a big NO. Why? Rivalry, Apple and Google have been competitors since the dawn of Smartphone era. So how does it affect the gamers of Mobile Legends?

Greatly, since the two are competitors, they have different builds and different setup, making the compatibility issues for switching the accounts from Google to iOS and vice versa impossible.

Further backing up these statements, issues regarding sharing of files in iOS and Android has been long standing and people are still requesting that one day, they would be able to connect to each other. In the meantime, we can only share files using other means, so switching accounts from the opposing app store accounts would really be impossible.

Creating a new account

1. You need to bind your old Mobile Legends account to your Facebook, Google Play or VK account. This will secure that the progress in your old Mobile Legends account won’t get lost. Close the game after doing so.

2. After closing the game, you need to go to your phone’s settings, then to the “apps”.

3. Look for the “Google Play Games”. Upon opening this tab, you will be redirected to the app’s info. Find the “Clear data” tab and click it.

4. Press back and look for “Google Play Service” tab. Tap the “Manage space” then “Clear data”

5. Press back and look for “Google Play Store” tab. Press the clear data.

6. Press back and look for Google Services Framework” tab and clear data again.

7. Press back and look for the “Mobile Legends” app. Click the “Clear data”.

8. After clearing all the data, you need to open your Mobile Legends app and update your game.

9. Finally, you will be prompted by a message to create a new account. Choose your region and name.

Afterward, you will be guided by the game’s tutorial session.

Reminder: Make sure to bind your old Mobile Legend account to secure its progress.

How to Acquire Freya in Mobile Legends

Despite the free mobile platform game, you can easily get access with Android, there are some heroes that would have to be unlocked and bought after the free-to-play version is up. 

Here are the steps to acquire Mobile Legend's Fighter Freya.

Step 1: Establish the network sim card you would want to use (Globe, Smart, Sun, Etc.). Seeing as Google Play would not work with two sims or dual sims, best to remove one of the sims for now (if you are dual simmed).

Step 2: Load the sim with at least 60. Freya would be about 52 points and given some of the local networks you can only access either 50 or 60 load, so best go for the 60 load instead.

Step 3: Check if your account is verified with Google Play. Check out this post on how to get your account verified). It would make things a lot easier and smooth sailing if you already have an account. Be sure to have the same number in your chosen sim for the one in your account.

Step 4: Now go to the Mobile Legends main home menu, and go look for the Hero Freya. Click the Recharge option.

Step 5: On the Recharge menu, go choose the option to convert your load to gems/diamonds (choose the 48 gem/dias one). A window will pop up, showing a transaction, in which you click on the green Continue button.

Step 6: Another window will then popup for the payment method, in which you choose your mobile network. (Unless you prefer to pay in credit card, there is also an option given above.)

That's pretty much it. Be sure to have your account verified otherwise you'll have to input the necessary information and repeat the process from Step 4 to 6 again.

After that, you may acquire Freya and find her in your Hero list already.

How to set Fb Avatar in Mobile Legends

Also, you can now use your Facebook profile photo as an avatar. In this blog post, I'll show how it's easy to set your Facebook Avatar.

1. The first thing you should do is to update your Mobile Legends Game App at the Google Play store. Note: Your MOBA current version must be ver. 1.140.126.6 to activate FB Avatar.  
2. After the game app update,  Open the game then Tap your Avatar photo at the left top of your screen.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Go to basic info > Tap your avatar photo, additional dialogue box will open.
   
   
   
   


4. Tap Fb Avatar button (image shown at the top) . You should see a notification "Avatar Upload Successful!"
5. Lastly, Tap your uploaded Facebook photo, then  tap "Okay". Voila, you can now set your Facebook profile as an in-game avatar.
