Bane’s Upcoming Rework, will Bane be pulled back to Davy Jones’ Locker?

With the barrage of reworks coming into play this year, the community has been asking questions left to right with the developers of Mobile Legends. 

Since they’ve talked about on reworking Nana by changing her splash art, this time the spotlight is on Bane and his possible rework.

Last May 1, Arnold, one of the designers of the game has answered a question regarding the Lord of the Seven Seas. He told everyone that Bane has received lots of feedback and they’ve decided to put him on the list of heroes to be remade.

He said that the problems that lie on Bane are his role and the issue regarding his skill set. First, his role is awkward. Then, they’ve also pointed that the skills in Bane’s kit are independent to each other. Meaning there would be no synergy and combinations to make his impact on the game worth doing.

For this to be evaluated, let’s look at Bane’s skills. His skills involve the passive which every 6 seconds, increases his damage input and makes it splash. The first skill that fires a cannon that deals 330 damage with a splash buff. Second skill that heals up allies and himself and finally an ultimate that summons a battleship to barrage enemies, that’s his breakdown of his skills.

Looking through Bane’s abilities, it would be hard to combo someone with the kit. This finalizes the deal that would send Bane back to Davy Jones’ locker or to put it simply, back to the developers’ hands for the rework, give the devs 2-3 months according to Arnold himself.

CONFIRMED: Mobile Legends New Nana Skin Rework

So there’s been confirmed news that Nana, the Feline Wizard will receive a rework on her splash art. Instead of the old one, she will have a new anime-style art which will make her look cuter and make the splash art more accurate.

For a quick recap of the hero, Nana is a cat elf that almost destroyed her home because she does not know the full extent of her powers until the moon elf Miya. She guided her to master her powers. It’s not long until Nana joins her mentor and they embark on a new journey.

First, Nana’s passive skill is Nimble which increase her movement speed. It benefits her greatly as she starts off slow. Her active skills are Boomerang, Morph Spell and Dragon Cat Summons. Her Boomerang deals a significant damage to the enemy while her second ability Morph Spell transforms her enemy to a Dragon Cat which damages the enemy and slowing it down as well. Finally her ultimate is Dragon Cat Summons a Dragon Cat that deals AoE damage and knocks enemy airborne for a second.

With these skillsets, she can have high potential to turn around a team fight but with the incoming rework which may be beside the splash art so skills might be changed. So stay tuned for the further updates coming in the game. Keep posted!

How to Join: Mobile Legends Tournament, Pinoy Gaming Festival 2017

Ready your cellphones and grind for your mastery for the new and highly-acclaimed Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game.

This new yet addictive game has caught the attention of various Filipinos across the country and now that it has risen to the top as a famous game in the mobile industry it aims to solidify its ground by hosting a tournament here in our very own country.

The controls are very easy to manage and the flow is similar to the other MOBA games, you move into one of the three lanes, push the lane by destroying the enemy towers and kill opposing champions that stand in your way and destroy their main tower in the heart of their base.

One difference I see from the game that can have mixed reactions from the MOBA gamers is that the shop can be accessible on the upper right side throughout the game making the itemization much easier. It is also noticeable that it shows the recommended items which will help the beginners in the game and make sure that they are on the right path.

Now that we’ve described what the game is let us return to the tournament. It is sponsored by Globe which means it is exclusive to TM and Globe Subscribers only.

PGF 2017 Mobile Legends Tournament

All participants must register with GOSURF50 and must bring a mobile phone with internet connectivity that can play ML. The roster must be 5 players together with 1 reserve. Each player must have a Lvl 8 account and 5 heroes.

Tournament Registration

The registration would be 10-11:30 at the venue of PGF. There would be 64 slots in the whole tournament with 32 teams each day, FIRST-COME, FIRST SERVED. Each member must present that their phones have been registered to GOSURF50 and register their name, Mobile Legends ID Number, Server Number, and in-game name and their contact number.

Elimination, Prizes and more..

The elimination process would be 32 teams will battle each day with the remaining four teams from the 64 teams would duke it out for the crown in the last day April 30. The champion team would acquire a huge prize of 25,000 diamonds which is the in-game currency of Mobile Legends along with P25, 000 as their cash prize. Meanwhile, the runner-ups would acquire 15,000 diamonds and 15,000 pesos.

There are other guidelines that will be followed throughout the event. Some which are important such as no hacks are allowed, the marshals will inspect your device to avoid any cheating. The employees of Globe, TPAs, organizers, the sponsors and their immediate families are not allowed to participate in the said event. Another highlighted guideline is that the winning team cannot switch team members or transfer their slot and only the registered players are allowed in the competition area and participate in the tournament.

A free skin would be given out to every player that joins the tournament, the Blue Spectre skin. It can also be acquired by participating in Globe Booths as well.

Mobile Legends New Hero: Lapu-Lapu Seems To Be Leading The Vote Poll

Yes, you got it right, it’s Philippines’ turn to choose the next Mobile Legends Hero and one of which we are looking to be the winner is the warrior LapuLapu. 

If you’re a Filipino, you sure are familiar with this name, he is one of the famous Filipino heroes in Philippines history.

Just to give you a quick background where the concept of this new hero came from, Lapu-Lapu is a famous warrior in Philippine history for defeating foreign attempt in conquering Mactan, Cebu.

Lapu-Lapu is also the ruler of Mactan, and despite only a few records of his life, he was popular because of beating the explorer Ferdinand Magellan in their fight in Mactan.

Several fan arts emerged on how Lapu-Lapu may look like, and obviously a warrior type, near range and would be a strength and stamina type.

The art concept is way out of the norms of Mobile Legends, which definitely depicts where he was inspired: native, lots of tattoos, muscular and with that killer look on his face – an absolute warrior, just like the original LapuLapu.

Lapulapu seems to be leading the vote poll in Mobile Legends and his character as a warrior rose expectation to the players that this new character should be absolutely strong.
